Ripples in Our Lives: Book by David and Nancy Brundage Released
Something new has been reported about Near Death Experiences: Ripples in the fingernails! Is it possible that President Clinton has the ripples after his open-heart surgery? They can show up about six weeks after a near death experience. David Brundage was told that the ripples were given to him by God when his spirit was sent back to his body.
(PRWEB) August 3, 2005 -- David Brundage was told that the ripples were given
to him by God when his spirit was sent back to his body. The ripples are deep
lateral or vertical ridges in the fingernails that can grow out after an
undetermined amount of time for some people. But more often, they are visible
for the rest of the person’s life.
David Brundage was the first to write
about ripples in the fingernails in a book co-written with his wife, Nancy. The
book is entitled Ripples In Our Lives (http://www.ripplesinourlives.com). Picture samples of the
ripples can be seen at http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/Ripples_In_Our_Lives
David Brundage had a few near death experiences in the past couple of
years. It was on his fourth near death experience that he learned the meaning of
ripples in the fingernails on many NDE people. The ripples have never been
connected to NDE’s because they do not show up until weeks after the event.
While he was on the other side, he was told that they are proof he was there. He
was informed at that time that many others have the ripples too.
It
became a mission for him to tell people about the ripples in their fingernails.
He is to tell them that God touched them before they were sent back from the
other side. He was instructed to create a place where all people that were
touched by God could gather and tell their stories without fear of being
ridiculed. It is a place where they can relay their message if they were given
one while they were with their higher power.
During the past several
months he has contacted many people on the Internet and told them his story. He
was surprised to learn how many people felt he is right about the ripples. He
thought if he can get on as many news programs and talk shows as possible, it
will help him spread the word about the ripples and give people a place to share
their own personal experiences.
The story below is what led up to his
learning about the ripples
.
David entered the hospital on March 30, 2003
with a severe infection in his colon. He was given antibiotics to clear the
infection and was operated on April 4, 2003. The surgery is called a sigmoid
colectomy. It was to remove about 18 inches of his colon. A few minutes into the
surgery, his heart stopped for 38 seconds. The operating team agreed to stop the
operation after they revived him to do some tests on his heart. When he came out
of the anesthesia, his surgeon asked him if he knew what happened. David said,
“Yes, I died and my brother sent me back!”
After the tests on his heart
came back negative, he went for a second try to do the sigmoid colectomy on June
4, 2003. It was successful with no complications.
A couple days after the
second surgery, he contracted a severe infection. The doctor opened and cleaned
the wound. It could not be stitched back together because it would get infected
again, so it was bandaged instead. On the morning of June 10, 2003, he
eviscerated. His intestines came out of the wound and were lying exposed on his
stomach when the nurse removed the bandage to change it. He was rushed back to
the operating room. When the operation was completed, the surgeon wired the
wound together with wire sutures (retention sutures). They were so tight, they
cut into his flesh causing 12 horizontal wounds, six on each side of the major
wound.
Due to the infection, the tissue was weak and he had a colostomy
on top of all his other problems. He was in the Step Down Unit for 22 days.
While there, his heart stopped at least two more times. Each experience was
different. The last time his heart stopped, he was touched by God. The
experience has changed his life. The ripples appeared in his fingernails
approximately six weeks after his first near death experience. While the ripples
were present, he saw spirits, good and bad.
On Nov 6, 2003, he went for a
4th operation to reverse the colostomy and all went as planned. The day after
the surgery, he had another NDE and was told what the ripples meant. He is not
afraid to die now. The hand of God has touched him. He knows only the best
things in his life will remain with him for eternity. During his third NDE, he
was told to write a book about his experiences and include what God said to him.
Although he was not a very spiritual or religious man, he did not take any
chances. He wrote the book (with help from his wife) about three of his NDE
experiences and what he was told by God.
On October 5, 2005, he had to
have another operation for 14 hernias. The stomach muscles were weak from the
retention sutures. On October 6, 2004 he went on another journey to the other
side. God told him that when He sent people back, He gave them ripples in the
fingernails, which could be lateral or vertical. They show up about several
weeks after being with Him. They may grow out in time, but some do not grow out
until they receive God’s message through David. Some people have them for the
rest of their lives to honor the gift they received from Him.
David runs
a free support group for NDE survivors on Yahoo! It is for anyone interested in
near death experiences. After an NDE, people get a little depressed. It is
comforting to know that the feelings they have are real. There are some pictures
of the ripples in people’s fingernails in the photo area of the group. Anyone
can join the group and read the stories. The group is at: http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/

He has helped many people realize that they have not gone crazy. By telling them
about the night terrors he was having and the depression he was feeling, they
feel a little relieved knowing that it is not just happening to them. The
support group is there for anyone who needs help whether they have family
support or not.
