Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 19, 2004 -- Just introduced from MIS, Inc. is the new
PAXcam ARC Digital Microscope Camera (www.paxcam.com). The PAXcam ARC (Adjustable Resolution Camera)
provides user-adjustable capture resolutions up to 5120 x 4096 (20MP). Default
capture resolutions include 5, 10 and 20 megapixels, producing stunning image
quality at all size selections.
Seth Grotelueschen, CEO of MIS, Inc.,
stated, "The PAXcam ARC is the newest member of the PAXcam family of cameras
from MIS, Inc. We are excited to offer another excellent imaging solution to our
customers and distributors for their highest resolution needs. We expect that
PAXcam ARC will follow in the strong and successful tradition of our current
PAXcamTM line: great value, rich features, spectacular images, first-class
software, and technical support second to none."
As with all PAXcam
models, the ARC is available as a fully integrated package complete with PAX-it
Image Database and Analysis software (www.paxit.com). PAX-it modules can also be added for
measurement, image analysis, metrology, extended security, 21 CFR Part 11
compliance, and network or Internet-based sharing.
The PAXcam ARC uses
the new industry standard USB 2.0 interface, which produces faster transfer
rates than IEEE-1394 FireWire or SCSI cameras. That results in best-in-class
smooth, real-time display for image previewing on desktop monitors or laptops,
while providing incredible high-quality, high-resolution images. Sample images
can be seen at http://www.paxcam.com/imagelibrary.asp.
The PAXcam ARC
is a standard c-mount camera, making connection to almost any microscope easy,
fast - and affordable. Superb color rendition, easy-to-use interface, and other
unique one-of-a-kind features make the PAXcam ARC unlike other cameras. User
controls like a focus meter, auto-white balance, auto-exposure mode, & easy
manual adjustments of contrast, saturation, and exposure are all at your
fingertips. Image capture settings can be saved and restored so that you can
easily switch sample types or lighting conditions, and your imaging workflow is
vastly improved.
Now in its 16th year of imaging excellence, MIS
designed the PAXcam family of cameras specifically for use with microscope or
macro lens applications.
