Infotone Senior Vice President Details Extensive Support for CDISC Standards
Redwood City, Calif. (PRWEB) July 26, 2005 -- Infotone Communications Corp.
this week will present at two workshops presented by the Clinical Data
Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC), where leading drug development,
clinical research, and information technology firms will discuss how
implementation of CDISC's new data exchange standards are leading to more
efficient clinical drug development.
The two multi-day CDISC workshops,
entitled "Getting Comfortable with CDISC Data Submission Standards" and "From
Clinician to Submission: How the ODM Can Improve Your Process", are being held
in South San Francisco, CA on July 25 - 27. The CDISC workshops will attract
pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research organizations, and regulatory
agencies looking for the latest best practices and tools for implementing CDISC
standards in their environments.
Infotone's Senior Vice President,
Product Avery Moon's presentations, entitled "Standardizing Clinical Process
Automation using CDISC Trial Design and SDTM" and "CDISC ODM: Standardizing
Clinical Process Automation", will outline how Infotone's Codefree® approach to
sharing data and business rules can automate end-to-end clinical processes which
today are performed by hand, without requiring the development of any new
code.
"We are excited to share our implementation experience at a
CDISC-endorsed venue, and how to achieve data interchange, process automation,
and archival using our Codefree approach to CDISC-compliance," Moon said.
"Infotone looks forward to continuing our on-going work with CDISC members to
deliver standards-compliant technologies to enable the pharmaceutical, biotech,
and clinical research organization sectors to improve their clinical trial
efficiencies."
