Whole Children, Whole Planet Expo 2006 – The First Natural Parenting and Family Expo to Create Empowered Parents, Balanced Families and a Healthier Planet
The Whole Children, Whole Planet Expo will provide the answers that a fast-growing group of socially and environmentally conscious parents are looking for to keep the planet and their families naturally safe and healthy.
(PRWEB) March 31, 2005 -- The Whole Children, Whole Planet (WCWP) Expo will
be held over the Earth Day weekend (next year), April 22-23, 2006, at the Los
Angeles Convention Center, in Southern California.
Parents today are
faced with often confusing and conflicting information about how to raise
healthy children. Sifting through the facts for informed decision-making is a
crucial part of responsible parenting. The WCWP Expo will provide parents with
new insights on important issues.
WCWP Expo is the brainchild of Kathy
Arnos, a California based mother, author and producer, who recognized a need for
guidance and education in the community for creating more balanced lifestyles.
Arnos feels our society is facing critical issues among our youth today –
childhood obesity, epidemic numbers of autism, attention deficit disorder,
hyperactivity, teen suicide and depression, cancer clusters and much more. She
states, “The time has come to create a generation of empowered families, both
for the sake of our children and our planet. There is no handbook for raising
healthy children – mind, body and spirit – or for guidance in supporting a
sustainable planet for their future. My goal is to offer families, teachers and
friends all of these resources under one roof.”
In 1987, Arnos got
involved with natural health and environmental issues as a result of her
daughter Danielle’s chronic illness after childhood vaccines. She has spent the
last 18 years doing research and sharing her knowledge with other families about
natural healing methods and informed lifestyle choices.
Arnos, President
of Whole Planet Productions, Inc., has teamed up with a Chicago based
mother/grandmother, Mary Beth Rebedeau, of The Rebedeau Group, a consumer and
trade show management company, to help bring her vision to life.
In
subsequent years, the women plan on producing the WCWP Expo in other cities
throughout the United States. They are committed to educating people about the
benefits of using holistic medicine; homeopathy, herbs, flower essences,
vitamins and minerals; natural products, i.e., body and personal care products,
cleaning products, etc.; new philosophies; enrichment programs; important
environmental issues and hazards; safety; and will offer families an opportunity
to sample healthy foods that taste great without additives, preservatives,
chemicals, coloring dyes and refined sugar.
The information presented at
the Expo will be different from what is familiar to families through the
mainstream news media and will bring a whole new awareness to raising children
naturally.
The WCWP Expo will be filled with two days of fun for all
ages, with five stages for education and entertainment – The Main Stage, The
Natural Foods Kitchen, The Enrichment Village, Teen Awareness and The Reading
and Fitness Corner. The Expo will address a wide range of issues – from natural
fertility options to conscious grandparents.
Join us in raising healthy
children – mind, body and spirit – and honoring our planet for their
future.
