Missouri Beef Industry Council Hires New Director of Consumer Services

The Missouri Beef Industry Council has hired Alane Lidolph as their new director of consumer services.

(PRWEB) July 23, 2005 -- The Missouri Beef Industry Council (MBIC) has hired a new Director of Consumer Information to help communicate the nutritional benefits of beef to the general public. Alane Lidolph started July 11 and will work with educators, health professionals and consumer media.

Lidolph says she already has several different activities lined up to promote beef to consumers.

“We really just want to get the message out about the nutritional qualities of beef, making sure that the message is out there that beef can be implemented in the daily diet easily and can really benefit the nutrition of your family.”

Lidolph was raised in a beef cattle producing family in Salisbury, MO and is happy to be returning to her roots in the beef industry. She attended Northwest Missouri State University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and a master’s in Health Science. After completion of her master’s degree, Lidolph was employed by the YMCA of Greater Kansas City as a Health and Wellness Director. She and her husband Ryan moved to Columbia in June.

Lidolph replaces Teri Jo Oetting who is pursuing a new career in nutrition product sales.
