Trinitas Hospital Launches "Nurses Reality" Television Ad Campaign

The work of America's 2.7 million registered nurses-- who on a daily basis save lives and maintain the health of millions of individuals will be championed at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey. (PRWEB) May 13, 2004 -- The work of America's 2.7 million registered nurses-- who on a daily basis save lives and maintain the health of millions of individuals will be championed at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Trinitas has just launched its first ever television campaign promoting its nursing staff, aimed to coincide with National Nurses Week 2004.

Trinitas Hospital’s TV advertising spots are in keeping with the theme for 2004 National Nurses Week, "Nurses: Your Voice, Your Health, Your Life." The TV spots do not use models or professional actors but feature the actual nurses who work at Trinitas discussing their mission of caring for patients. The ads are groundbreaking in their simplicity and in capturing the “reality” of the daily lives of nurses at Trinitas.

Trinitas Hospital turned to New York City based Clarke Advertising, one of the leading health care advertising, marketing, public relations and internet agencies in the United States to develop and create the television ad campaign, which includes the media placements.

“There was no doubt that we should develop television ads using our nurses at Trinitas,” said Gary S. Horan, FACHE, President and CEO of Trinitas. “Letting the nurses tell their own stories was just a natural fit and very much in keeping with the theme of National Nurses Week.”

The commercials feature nurses discussing various aspects of their jobs at Trinitas, including the hospital’s preceptor, or mentoring program; the value of working one-on-one with patients; flexible schedules that allow nurses to maintain a strong family life; and the overall advantages of helping patients in a caring, nurturing environment like Trinitas Hospital.

“The TV spots also reflect the overall theme that we developed for Trinitas,” said Richard Clarke, President of Clarke Advertising. “That theme is ‘there is a new spirit of care at Trinitas Hospital.’”
