(PRWEB) October 25, 2004 -- New Book Release by Publish America, Lord Sirius
by Kim Parson. This is a historical romance with intrigue and mystery. Lord
Sirius is the second historical romance by Kim set in England. Her first
historical romance intrigue Lord Tricking was release in May of 2004 has
received excellent reviews. Writing Lord Sirius Kim used the same time period
but nothing else. This is not a series or continuation of Lord
Tricking.
The main character Sirius has decides to wed a woman that is
showing no signs of returning his interest. To keep her close while attempting
to win her affection Sirius resorts to blackmailing her for kisses each time she
insults him and she cannot resist insulting the haute Lord. The kisses get
steamy, however Victoria has more important concerns than kissing. Someone is
trying to kill her.
Previously writing under the name Belita Keaton she
released It's A Dog's Life, a book of comic short stories in 2000. She used her
family name as she is a relative of actor Buster Keaton. This book was rarely
promoted in 2000 as Kim was sick at the time and unable. She will continue to
use Keaton for her amusing tales.
Kim prefers writing in different time
periods than the present. "One lives in the present and imagines in past or
future times." She is a recovering stroke victim. She was forced to retire from
public work five years ago when she suffered two strokes. During her long
recovery, as she had always wanted to write she used the studying necessary to
write to stimulate her damaged brain. Suffering from dizzy spells and seizures
it took a lot of determination to do the work necessary to write these books.
The excellent reviews she has received has made the struggle worth
while.
Kim has a website where excerpts from her books can be read.
Everyone is invited to visit her website to learn more about these
books.
