Golf Tournament Benefits Alzheimer's Prevention Research
Alzheimer's Prevention Foundation International (Tucson, AZ) will benefit from the Marana, AZ Rotary Club's 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on June 12, 2004. Players and Sponsors wanted.
Tucson and Marana, AZ (PRWEB) June 3, 2004--A joint announcement was made
today from the Alzheimer's Prevention Foundation International (APFI) and the
Marana Rotary Club regarding the Marana Rotary Club's 5th Annual Charity Golf
Tournament on June 12th.
This year, funds from the annual charity golf
tournament will benefit the Alzheimer's prevention research at APFI and their
fight against this terrible mind-robbing disease. Some of the funds raised will
also be used towards the International Rotary Centennial Celebration Project in
Marana.
About the Golf Tournament:
The 5th Annual Charity Golf
Tournament is Marana Rotary Club's major fundraiser and sponsors are needed as
well as golfers. Sponsorships range from $100 to $3,000.
The tournament
will be held on June 12, 2004 at the Pines at Marana (former Links at
Continental Ranch). Registration is at 6:30 am and shotgun start is at 7:00 am.
It will be a 'best ball' or 'scramble' and the fee to play is $380 per foursome
or $100 per individual golfer. Fee includes a continental breakfast and lunch on
the day of the event, a grab bag, cart, green fees, as well as numerous awards
and prizes. Remember, all proceeds go to a wonderful cause!
