Colorado BioScience Association and Biotechnology Industry Organization Jointly Sponsor August 9th Bioscience Forum
The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) and Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA) are jointly sponsoring the Bioscience Forum on Tuesday, August 9, 2005, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. , on the Fitzsimons Campus. This educational event focuses on the outlook of the Bioscience Industry in Colorado. Keynote Speakers include The Honorable Bob Beauprez (R-District 7-CO), The Honorable Andrew Romanoff, Speaker of Colorado House, and The Honorable James Greenwood, President & CEO, Biotechnology Industry Organization. Representatives from higher education, including President Hank Brown of the University of Colorado, and respected members of business and industry round out the powerful lineup of participants.

(BIO) and Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA) are jointly sponsoring the
Bioscience Forum Tuesday, August 9, 2005, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on the
Fitzsimons Campus. This educational event focuses on the outlook of the
Bioscience Industry in Colorado. The announcement is made by Denise Brown,
Executive Director of the CBSA, who says attendees will meet federal and state
lawmakers, network with leading life science executives and learn about the
major role bioscience plays in job creation and the extraordinary healthcare and
agricultural promise for the future.
"Bioscience in Colorado has been
recognized by numerous national research organizations as a fast growing portion
of the state's economic vitality. The industry is creating thousands of jobs,

from the sale of research equipment, building construction and support
services," Brown explains.
