David Aquilina, Strategic Storyteller, Wins Bronze Quill Award
The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC-Minnesota) Honors Minneapolis-based Freelance Consultant with Award for Writing Excellence
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) January 31, 2005 -- The International Association of
Business Communicators (IABC), Minnesota chapter, has honored David Aquilina,
strategic storyteller, with a Bronze Quill Award, which recognizes superior
achievement in business communications. He won an Award of Excellence in the
Writing category (Interpretive/Expository Articles).
His winning entry
is an article he wrote with HealthPartners, the Minneapolis-based family of
non-profit, consumer-governed health care organizations. The article,
“Financially Rewarding Physicians for Quality: HealthPartners’ Model,” was
published as the cover story in the May 2004 issue of Group Practice Journal. It
describes HealthPartners’ national leadership in establishing financial rewards
for physicians who achieve measurable improvements in the quality of
care.
IABC members in Houston, Texas judged this year’s Minnesota
entries. The judges praised Aquilina’s entry as “a well-written, very
understandable article that presents its case quite clearly.”
Again this
year, Aquilina was the only independent communications professional whose work
was honored for excellence by IABC-Minnesota, the fourth largest IABC chapter in
North America. And 2005 marks the fourth time that IABC has recognized
Aquilina’s outstanding achievements in business communications. He previously
won Bronze Quill Awards in 2001, 2002 and 2004.
