Jointrex Joint Care Sales Explode Following the Removal of the Drug Vioxx From the Market and Concerns Surrounding Celebrex and Heart Conditions
Jointrex dietary supplement joint care sales have exploded following the removal of the drug Vioxx from the market and concerns surrounding Celebrex and heart conditions.
West Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) January 16, 2005 -- Dietary supplement company,
KMS of West Palm Beach Florida as announced explosive sales growth of their
Jointrex dietary supplement following recent problems with certain prescription
drugs on the market as follows:
VIOXX® (rofecoxib)1, has been withdrawn
from the market following reports of problems such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome,
a skin disorder, caused by BEXTRA® (valdecoxib)2. Celebrex is the subject of
interim reports raising the question of potential heart problems associated with
CELEBREX® (celecoxib)3,4,.
On October 18, 2004 the FDA
announced:
"The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is advising doctors to
consider alternatives to pain reliever Celebrex in the wake of a study that
showed it increased the risk of heart attack and strokes at high
doses."
In Additional Breaking News:
The National Cancer Institute,
which was conducting the study for Pfizer, said patients in the clinical trial
taking 800 milligrams of Celebrex had a 3.4 times greater risk of cardiovascular
events compared to a placebo. For patients in the trial taking 400 milligrams of
Celebrex the risk was 2.5 times greater. The average duration of treatment in
the trial was 33 months.
In the 2,000 patient study, 15 individuals
taking 400 mgs, 20 patients taking 800 mgs and 6 patients on placebo suffered
either a cardiac-related death, heart attack or stroke.
In the wake of
these and other announcements, consumers suffering from rheumatoid arthritis are
looking for alternatives to prescription drug treatment that are formulated to
be safe and effective and the ingredients in dietary supplement products like
Jointrex can provide support and/or relief from the joint pain and inflammation
associated with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis without the negative
side effects of prescription drugs.
This theory is supported by recent
sales spikes of Jointrex on a wholesale and retail level.
KMS
spokesperson, Kellie Leighton, reports, "We always knew that Jointrex was an
excellent joint care product based on our current customer base and it appears
that recent market changes in prescription drugs has only expanded the base of
Jointrex users.

Sulfates, is also rich in Magnesium, Boron, Hyaluronic Acid, Chicken Sternal
