Pre~Seed "Sperm-Friendly" Product for Intimate Dryness Receives CE-Mark Approval
Pre~Seed is a first to market product to relieve intimate dryness without killing sperm, as do traditional lubricants. Pre~Seed, which has been available in the US for almost two years, has now received approval for use of the EEU's CE mark and begun sales in Europe, Canada and South Africa.
Valleyford, WA (PRWEB) September 24, 2004 -- INGfertility, LLC announced that
the Company has received approval to affix the CE Mark to their product
Pre~Seed. Pre~Seed is the first "sperm-friendly" vaginal lubricant that mimics
natural body secretions to relieve personal dryness while providing an optimal
sperm environment.
CE-Mark Certification allows ING to market Pre~Seed
in European Union countries, as well as several other countries. The CE-Mark is
a European proof of conformity and indicates that the product complies with
applicable safety and quality standards. The CE-Mark Accreditation comes less
than a year after ING restarted production of Pre~Seed, following an improperly
filed involuntary Chapter 11 which was dismissed by the Court. Last fall, $20
boxes of Pre~Seed were selling for up to $200/box on eBay as the Company
traversed an unsuccessful hostile take over attempt by its commercial Investor.
CE-mark certification allows marketing of Pre~Seed to couples around the
world for relieving vaginal dryness without harming sperm while trying to
conceive children. “This is a critical step in our product marketing that will
enable large numbers of consumers to benefit from Pre~Seed" said Joanna
Ellington, CEO of INGfertility, LLC.
ING has recently completed
exclusive international distribution arrangements with Fairhaven Health of
Bellingham, Washington for Pre~Seed in the EEU and South Africa and Berry
Technologies of Alberta, CA for Canadian Pre~Seed sales. "We've been aware of
Pre~Seed's immense popularity in the trying-to-conceive community since its
inception," says Kelly Andrews, of Fairhaven Health, LLC. "We're excited to play
an integral role in introducing this much-needed product to the European and
South African markets." Agreements with other global regions are in
negotiations.
Over 90 Millions couples around the World have difficulty
conceiving a child each year. Approximately 75% of these trying-to-conceive
couples reported an increased incidence in vaginal dryness due to having timed
intercourse around ovulation, fertility medications and fear of failure.
Unfortunately, three decades of peer reviewed and published research has shown
that existing vaginal lubricants harm sperm. Pre~Seed provides first of kind
sperm-friendly intimate moisture for these couples.
