ACOM EMR Offers PainFree Installment Plan for RAPID EMR Chiropractic E-Documentation and Reporting Software
The paperwork burden is intense and growing in chiropractic offices and ACOM's RAPID EMR has been shown to reduce it dramatically by automating SOAP notes and reporting processes. ACIM now announces an installment purchase plan for this already affordable solution, making it easy for small and newly established practices to automate these time-consuming tasks.
St. Petersburg, Florida, (PRWEB) June 22, 2005 -- ACOM EMR, the electronic
medical records division of ACOM Solutions, Inc., has introduced its PainFree
Installment Purchase Plan, a program that makes it simple and easy for
chiropractic practices that want to participate in the trend towards paperless
electronic processes to acquire and use ACOM’s RAPID EMR™ clinical
e-documentation and office reporting solution, it was announced today by vice
president Gregory T. Church.
Launched in 2004, RAPID EMR is now being
used by chiropractic offices of all sizes to automate daily SOAP notes and
reports and the generation and sharing of final reporting documents for
employers, insurance companies, attorneys and others, Church said. The solution
enables doctors to create notes using such on-board tools as intelligent
checklists and graphic displays (e.g., musculature, spine), and to build final
reports automatically from previous input and final notes.
“Doctors using
the solution report that with its comprehensiveness and ease-of-use, RAPID EMR
saves enormous amounts of dictation time, allows them to spend more time with
more patients, and results in better and faster reimbursements with fewer
disputed claims,” Church said. “It also supports their compliance measures and
provides clear and concise outcome assessments that facilitate patient education
and retention.”
Under the program, ACOM installs all of the solution
hardware and software and provides training, customer support and maintenance on
the hardware and the software components. These include the RAPID EMR software,
a tablet PC, an all-in-one office machine (printer, copier, fax, and scanner)
and a wireless printer router for the tablet PC.
Monthly installment
payments vary with the length of the contract and with the configuration of the
solution, and besides the hardware and software components, they also cover
maintenance, support, training and a service fee. Installments are automatically
charged to the practitioner’s American Express, MasterCard or Visa account, and
ACOM issues a monthly receipt to the customer by secure email. A $250.00
installation and set-up fee includes two hours of phone training as well as
consultative services using Webex. There is no prepayment penalty if doctors
decide to purchase their solution before the end of their installment contract.
“This program is available to all but it has been structured
particularly around the needs of the beginning practitioner or the office that
chooses to stay small and/or local with one or two professionals,” Church said.
“It removes any reason that a chiropractic office of any size might have for
denying itself a solution to the notes/reporting burden that has been typical to
the field and historically a serious drain on financial resources and
professional and personal time.”
