FDA clearance of the Ready System® 200, the next generation minimized bypass
system.

The Ready System has
been designed to accommodate the changing clinical scenarios of cardiac surgery
and cardiopulmonary bypass by providing the clinician with a safe and flexible
cardiopulmonary bypass platform.
Approximately 400,000 procedures
utilizing cardiopulmonary bypass are performed in the United States each year.
The NovoSci Ready System® can accommodate the clinical scenarios in all of these
procedures because it places a unique closed reservoir in the venous line. The
patented combination of a closed loop bypass circuit combined with vacuum
assisted venous return eliminates concern about venous air handling in a
minimized bypass system.
